CHINA FAIL

I recently ordered something from Apple. Tracking the shipment, I can see that it left Shanghai, China on September 25th, arrived in Anchorage, Alaska that night, arrived in Oakland on September 29th, and got to the Emeryville distribution facility today. I am not a particularly eco-nuttish person but I LIVE 41.5 MILES FROM APPLE HEADQUARTERS, in a state with 12.4% unemployment. I think there might be a better way to do this.

I should march this down to Cupertino....
