Check out the audience in the background. If nothing else, this youtube clip should remind you that middle school girls are horrid!

EPIC yes. Yes yes yes.

There is no question that this video of NPR staff recreating Lady Gaga's epic "Telephone" video is one for the ages.  Certainly other remakes also deserve our time and attention,  but this one is dear to my heart because it gives us a peek at the secret world of those who work in the secret and mysterious world of public radios. This video brings up some questions:
1. Ari Shapiro, you are hot. What are you doing working in radio?
2. Directors - are you identical twins? Do you ever dress alike to confuse people on purpose?
3. Terry Gross, why were you not involved in this?

I love Johnny Weir

I love Johnny Weir. I very much enjoy, and even like quite a lot lady Gaga? What do I think about this then?

Less than the sum of it's parts, actually. Maybe it is because I like Johnny and Gaga things in a camp semi-ironic way, and this is just too much. Johnny skating to Tchaikovsky wearing a swan outfit (or bondage gear) is great entertainment, Gaga wearing ridiculous outfits in a lineup of other pop-starlets wearing slightly less ridiculous clothes but taking themselves seriously is great entertainment. Combine the two and it is too much.

And perhaps best of all:
