Obama's Statement of Faith

It makes me uncomfortable that President Obama feels he has to explain why he became a Christian. That said, his answer is the answer which least alienates me, and which is essentially the only agnostic or humanistic answer to that kind of question. "I am a Christian because I think Christianity teaches great things about how to teach others and I want to behave like a Christian" (I paraphrase) is not an answer which will necessarily placate religious Christians who doubt his religious sincerity, and in fact is a pretty Jewish kinda of answer, or would be Jewish if he mentioned liking the food.
