Bad for the Jews

The New York Times Book Review Section this week has a theme. This theme is "The Jewish Question." I'm going to go out there and say "bad for the Jews." First of all, getting a whole week out of 52 weeks of the book review - not just about Jews, but specifically about anti-semitism? Thanks but no thanks. Second of all - calling it the Jewish Question? Really? The Jewish Questions was basically "how can we allow this people to live among us but be separate?" and the answer was, you know, the final solution, so these are not value neutral terms. It is sort of like writing a section about racism in the last twenty years and calling it 'Welfare Queens,' or one about immigration "Fence Jumpers" or something. Humph
